Maybe I'm taking on too much at once, but on top of teaching myself congitive and breathing tecnhiques to ease anxiety which will hopefully get me on a plane, I'm also quitting smoking. Finally.

I'm not saying there won't be a relapse, but I've committed as of tonight. I got the 21mg patch and have one set out to open in the morning. I threw away my outside ashtray and ran my last 6 cigarettes and lighter under water in the sink then put them in the trash.

The stuff I've read on quitting smoking says not to get too upset if you fall back and have one, but to move on and not let it get you down. I can't say for sure that I'll never have another cigarette again in my life. I'd just like to stop smoking a pack a day and get in shape.
