I got this book at Borders last night called Flying Without Fear with all these cognitive and breathing techniques for people who are claustrophobic or acrophobic or just afraid of planes altogether.
I'm definitely going to give his techniques a shot and start on them now, especially when I start doing nervous shit in the car.
If all goes well, I may be on a plane to Seattle this November.
And, if nothing else, the doctor can prescribe me a little Xanax. But I really hope to do it on my own.
